WELCA – Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
WELCA is a women’s church organization dedicated to seeking out and supporting charitable programs and activities both inside the church and in our community.
WELCA meets the second Saturday at 11:00 am in the Fellowship Hall to share fellowship, Bible study, discuss projects and enjoy light refreshments.

We collect items and funds to support local and some international organizations, such as:
- Flip-Flops for Tanzania
- Family Justice Center
- South Strand Helping Hands
- Coastline Women’s Center
WELCA sponsors activities that raise funds, collects non-perishable foods and personal hygiene items that support the ever growing Food Pantry needs. The Food Pantry is housed in our Education building and supports up to 1700 people per month.
All women of the church are automatically a member of WELCA and are encouraged to participate.
