What to Expect

When you arrive, speak with the greeter and take a number.  If it is your first time visiting, an ID will be helpful to get you registered but is not required.  When a volunteer becomes available, they will walk with you through the pantry and you may select the items you would like to take.  Next, just pull your vehicle up to the loading zone and a volunteer will help you load your vehicle.

Safety is part of caring for neighbors!

Creating a welcoming and safe space means taking steps to protect everyone who walks through the doors, especially children and other vulnerable neighbors.

That’s why we are completing background checks and child safety training for ALL of our volunteers.

55 volunteers have completed their background check so far

Volunteers who complete their background check receive a   Blue Star sticker for their name tag.

Volunteers who complete child safety training receive a   Green Star sticker.

These stars represent volunteers who have taken an extra step to help make the pantry a safe, welcoming place for everyone.

When you see a volunteer wearing a Blue Star or Green Star, please take a moment to thank them for making safety a priority!
