Parish Nurse Ministry

We are in need of Visitation Ministers for visits at homes, nursing homes and the hospital. If you enjoy talking with people and sharing time with them, we would love to have you join us. Visits are usually once a month, and you bring Communion to them. If this is something that you’ve never done, we can show you how to become comfortable with the task. Chair yoga in June will be on Mondays 15, & 22 at 10AM and Wednesdays 17 @ 12pm. All classes are held in the Narthex and the cost is $5/pp. This is an excellent option for those who cannot get on floor anymore for yoga. It’s a gentle workout to keep you flexible. Regular yoga is still on Saturday mornings @ 9:00 AM, also $5/pp and in the Narthex.

FREE Bingo is held every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month 1-3 pm. Prizes for the winners. Come out and have some fun & fellowship.

The next date for the support group for those who have lost a child, will be held on Saturday, June 20th at 10am in the Conference Room in the Administration Building. If you know someone outside of the church who could benefit from this group, please invite them.

If you can, please help support our Wellness Wednesdays. They are held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month. During these hours we offer some over the counter for free. Some of the items are reading glasses, eye drops, weekly pill containers, Tums, Neosporin ointment, chap stick, sunscreen, calamine lotion. If you prefer not to shop, any donations are greatly appreciated. You can put them in a Parish Nurse envelope and put them in the collection basket.
